Abstract
La representación en Colombia de la Organización
de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la
Agricultura (FAO), en su Marco Programático de
país 2015 – 2019, tiene definida el área prioritaria
denominada Gestión del Riesgo y Rehabilitación de
Medios de Vida para que el Estado colombiano y
la sociedad civil fortalezcan sus capacidades para
conocer, reducir y manejar las situaciones que se
derivan de los riesgos ambientales; de los sociales y
aquellos asociados al conflicto armado, que afectan
los medios de vida agropecuarios, generando
resiliencia en las comunidades en condiciones
de vulnerabilidad. En ese sentido, el Área viene
desarrollando proyectos en diferentes zonas del país
y con diferentes contrapartes para la generación y el
fortalecimiento de los sistemas de gestión de riesgos
agroclimáticos en las comunidades vulnerables y en
las diferentes instituciones de orden local y regional.
Recientemente, en comunidades afectadas
de Chocó, Putumayo y La Guajira se han
implementado proyectos que buscan el
restablecimiento de sus medios de vida y
el posicionamiento de la gestión de riesgos
agropecuarios en la política sectorial, en la
apropiación en el territorio y en la transformación de
prácticas culturales que se adapten a las condiciones
de riesgo en esas zonas. Todo esto implica un
proceso de transformación cultural y político.
