dc.description.abstractCon el fin de conocer la edad y el peso a la pubertad en novillas Romosinuano, Cebú y sus cruces en el Centro de Investigación Turipaná, se estudiaron 65 novillas Romosinuano (R), 23 Cebú (C), 21 Romosinuano x Cebú (RxC), 26 Romosinuano x Cebú F2 (RxCF2) y 18 Cebú x Romosinuano (CxR) a partir del destete. Se realizó observación diaria a las 6 am, 1 y 6 pm desde del destete hasta la pubertad. Se tomó como pubertad, la aparición del primer calor manifiesto y la presencia del foliculo ovulatorio comprobado por palpación rectal.spa
