dc.description.abstractCrypticerya genistae Hempel (Hemiptera: Monophlebidae) se registra por primera vez para Cuba. La especie fue recolectada en diversos sitios de las playas al este de La Habana y en el poblado de Guanabo. Los ejemplares recolectados fueron depositados en la Colección Zoológica del Instituto de Ecología y Sistemática. Este insecto fue observado en 23 especies de nueve familias de plantas. De ellas, 16 especies y dos familias constituyen nuevos registros de plantas hospedantes para este insecto.spa
