Caracterización y evaluación de siete materiales genéticos de ají dulce (Capsicum ssp) en condiciones de la meseta de Ibagué

Abstract

Yield of seven genetic materials of sweet pepper (Capsicum spp.) was evaluated and characterized at the Experimental Center Of Bariloche (Serviarroz), during 1995. The field information was taken following the descriptions proposed for Capsicum in 1983 by the International Board for Plant Genetics Resources - IBPGR and CIAT. An experimental design on complete randomized blocks with three repetitions was used. The results obtained indicated that the seven genetic materials were well adapted to the agroecological conditions of the Ibagué Plateau and through the statigraph the Mode; it was possible to gather similar morphological genetic materials into three groups. The higher yields were obtained by: the Mariquita sweet pepper (38.649 Kg/ha), Palmira sweet pepper (38.531 kg/ha), and Chiness F sweet pepper (33.399 kg/ha), however, no significant diferences were found.

La caracterización y evaluación del rendimiento de siete materiales genéticos de ají dulce {Capsicum spp), se realizó en el Centro Experimental Bariloche (Serviarroz), durante 1995. Los datos de campo se obtuvieron teniendo en cuenta los descriptores propuestos para el género Capsicum en 1983, por la International Board for Plant Genetic Resources - IBPGR y CIAT. Se utilizó el diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar con 3 repeticiones. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que los siete materiales genéticos se adaptaron a las condiciones agroecológicas de la Meseta de Ibagué, y que fue posible mediante el estadígrafo la Moda agrupar materiales genéticos similares morfológicamente en tres grupos. Los mayores rendimientos los presentaron: Ají Dulce Mariquita (38.649 kg/ha), Ají Dulce Palmira (38.531 kg/ha) y Ají Dulce Chino F (33.399 kg/ha), no presentando diferencias estadísticas entre sí.
