dc.description.abstractEste libro realiza un recorrido por los aspectos más relevantes de la virología de plantas, con énfasis en aquellos de mayor trascendencia para las regiones tropicales y subtropicales, ilustra los nombres de técnicas, procedimientos, procesos biológicos e incluso enfermedades virales. Las prácticas citadas, además de resultar ineficientes para el manejo de las enfermedades, conducen a la selección de microorganismos e insectos resistentes a moléculas químicas, contaminación de suelos, fuentes de agua y alimentos, y al deterioro de las condiciones ambientales y de la biodiversidad de los agroecosistemas.spa
